The Railway Dragon is a 1989 American television animated film. Leslie Nielsen featured as the narrator.
A little girl named Emily knows that there's something special in the railway tunnel close to her home. One day she decides to see for herself. What she discovers is a centuries old dragon whom she befriends and goes on an adventure with him.
At one point, Emily is injured and the Dragon protects her and himself from some hunter dogs, seemingly disappearing afterwards. Emily's father finds her later on and brings her home. In the days that follow, no one believes her stories about the Dragon. Then one day, the Dragon re-appears and they both share a hug.
